Safeture AB in Lund, Sweden, has signed a three-year agreement with one of the world’s largest insurance companies. Safeture will be part of their premium offering and replace today’s solution. The three-year deal is worth more than one million euros. It is one of the most significant single orders in Safeture’s history.
Safeture AB has signed an enlarged partnership agreement with The Inkerman Group, a well-respected provider of risk and intelligence services all over the world.
Through the agreement, Inkerman is now one of Safetures Gold partners.
The third quarter was a typical “summer quarter”. The number of opportunities was promising but didn’t materialize to the extent we wanted, bringing the Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) to 50,3 MSEK, an increase of +26% year-on-year. Due to a higher order intake in Q2, sales increased by 35% from Q3 last year, reaching 12,4 MSEK. The Net Revenue Retention (NRR) was 113%, of which quarterly churn was a mere 0,5 %. A very healthy number.

Safeture AB, a SaaS (Software as a Service) company in Lund, Sweden, today announced the appointment of Jessica Eberhagen as the new CFO, effective January 1st. Jessica Eberhagen will have responsibility for strategic financial planning, leading day-to-day operations within the areas of finance, and will be a key member of the executive team.
The second quarter was strong. The annual recurring revenue (ARR) increased 30 % in the quarter compared to last year, bringing the total just short of 50 MSEK ARR. During Q2, we achieved a significant boost in sales and improved our gross margins, all while maintaining a strict expense control. As a result, we see substantial improvements in our bottom line. A quarterly loss of -4.3 MSEK (-48%) one year ago, has been reduced to a loss of -1.6 MSEK (-14%) this year.
Safetures partner Falck Global Assistance har tecknat avtal med ett europeiskt ledande företag inom teknik, design och rådgivning, om en säkerhetslösning som ger bolagets 19 000 anställda tillgång till Safetures plattform. Ordervärdet är cirka 3 miljoner kronor för Safeture under den treåriga avtalsperioden.
Safeture’s partner Falck Global Assistance has signed an agreement with a European leader in engineering, design, and advisory services, on a security solution that gives the company’s 19 000 employees access to Safeture’s platform. The order value was approximately SEK 3 million for Safeture during the three-year contract period.

Safeture started the year by delivering in line with our financial targets. As we have communicated earlier, Safeture aim to have an average sales increase of 30% year-on-year, continuously improved gross margins until we reach +80% and become profitable at an ARR of 65 MSEK. For Q1, sales are up 31 %, annual recurring revenue (ARR) is up 27 %, the gross margin improved from 73% last quarter to 75% in Q1. The steady path to profitability is clearly indicated in the Q1 result, with an improved EBIT margin of -23% compared to -57% one year ago.

Safeture continues to deliver new sales above our targets also for the fourth quarter and thus for all quarters of 2022. Sales amounted to 10 MSEK. With 41 MSEK of Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). However, as already highlighted in the report, the numbers are affected by a one-time write-off related to a US-based customer, negatively affecting the ARR growth year-on-year with 6%. But let me come back to that.
