GWS and G4S announce global partnership agreement delivering the next generation of personal safety services
GWS Production AB (GWS) is signing a global mutual exclusive agreement with G4S for a joint approach of the world’s professional personal security market. The agreement includes GWS Safeture Pro service, which includes the Safeture Pro app and Instant Security Overview (ISO) for integration into G4S future service offering to the enterprise travel and security market. The partnership includes joint product development and sharing of revenues.
“Today the global market size of securing assets and premises is estimated to 130 billions USD. We expect that in 10-20 years the market for securing people will be even larger. To make this happen two things are necessary, one is mobile technology and the other is trained staff on the ground. GWS has the world’s leading mobile technology and G4S is a global leader in safety and security services and with a presence in over 110 countries has one of the world’s largest professional staffing capacity, therefore this partnership is best positioned to address the rapidly growing personal security market worldwide, explains Andreas Rodman, CEO of GWS Production AB.
Andreas Rodman continues “The agreement we are signing is global and includes a revenue share model. This is a major milestone in the market development of GWS and this agreement is the expression of a long term will to develop and serve this future gigantic market together. Short term revenues are hard to foresee but we estimate that the long term effect will be that the GWS/G4S global partnership will claim a substantial part of the upcoming multibillion dollar market.”
“We have thoroughly scanned the market for a partner that can provide a technology platform that satisfies our high demands on quality and performance and GWS meet our demands. GWS technology platform and service will be a core offering in the future service concept that we are currently developing.”, says Tim O’Leary, MBE Chief Operating Officer, G4S Risk Consulting.
Trends that support the rapid growth of the personal security market and drive the need for advanced corporate travel risk management systems are;
- Globalization of the workplace – companies are increasingly sending personnel abroad
- Growing focus on risk in the boardroom and amongst top management.
- Legislation – companies are feeling legal and moral pressure to protect the health and safety of employees.
