Breakthrough for GWS in the telecom industry: contract signed with leading Middle East Telecom Operator

GWS (Global Warning System) is established in the personal security and insurance industry through strategic partnership contracts with G4S and ERV (Europeiska). The next step in the global expansion is the announcement of a contract with a leading national mobile operator in the Middle East. GWS mobile device based service Safeture will be offered as an added value to more than 3 million subscribers. The agreement is based on a revenue sharing business model.
Safeture is a personal security service, which provides critical information directly in your smartphone through an app that you easily download. The app contains important information and alerts in real time about your actual location, giving service and safety while travelling. The agreement with GWS helps the Operator to guarantee the citizens’ possibility to be informed about national and international security related events in a fast and reliable way.
Andreas Rodman, CEO of GWS, comments on the contract:

“This cooperation means that we will be established in another segment that we consider strategic for our expansion, that of the telecom industry. It also means that another of the objectives that was set out in association with our listing at First North now is fulfilled. Our service Safeture will be offered to the Operator’s 3 million customers. For us, this is yet another proof that Safeture fills a demand for services within personal security, and that it can help people in critical situations. The agreement is a breakthrough for us in the Middle East region and we look forward to developing the cooperation. We are well positioned for the future, having established platforms for expansion in three of the industries that we have pointed out as critical for growth: security, insurance and telecom.”
